Hi, my name is Peter Thorne of Hearts and Souls Celebrant

Although I live in South Gloucestershire, my services reach beyond my locality. I have led wedding ceremonies and funeral services across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Bristol, Bath and right across the South West and South Wales, creating wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, funerals (including Military and Scottish themed) celebrations of life, renewal of vows and many more.
Contemporary in style and outlook, I write and lead ceremonies and services that are traditionally inspired and that are personal, meaningful, and about you as a couple or your loved one. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a funeral, a military or Scottish ceremony, I’ll guide you every step of the way to craft an occasion that truly reflects your values, beliefs, and personalities. I work with you from day one to make it the ceremony or service that reflects your values, beliefs and your personalities and then deliver that to you on the day.
Being a celebrant is a joy and a privilege, and an opportunity to bring personality, warmth, style and humour to your ceremony. With a celebrant there are no limits or restrictions - just endless possibilities to explore.
We as celebrants bring families and friends together for many of life’s milestones, and choosing a the right celebrant gives you the freedom to personalise every aspect of your ceremony, making it unique, memorable, and of course, exceptional.

With many years of experience & have had the privilege of leading many funeral services & wedding ceremonies all across the South West and South Wales,
Funeral Services: Allow me to tell the unique story of your loved one’s life and to celebrate the life they lived. I will work with you to write a memorium service to honour your loved one, with dignity, respect and to make a service that you want & need to help you through your grief.
Wedding Ceremony: You must already have a lot of ideas about the wedding or seeking inspiration, I’m here to turn your dream into a reality.
I will work closely with you, listening to your vision and collaborate with you to let your personalities shine through – it shouldn’t just be your reception that everyone remembers!
I have held wedding ceremonies for couples in their perfect venues, such as Castles and woodland settings, to hotels, manor houses to back gardens, literally anything goes.le
